Permaculture Principles and the Transition to a Sustainable Society

Workshop leader : Andy Goldring

This session will start with a talk and presentation of permaculture principles and their relevance to our work of creating a sustainable society in balance with its environment. Each of the principles proposed by David Holmgen, co-founder of permaculture will be explored and examples given of successful applications.

The session will end with a discussion of how we can use thise principles in our own transition work.

Andy Goldring is an active teacher, designer, member of Leeds Permaculture Network and Chief Executive of the Permaculture Association.
